Membership
Today, SSBE includes an active membership of 16 collective members and more than 200 individual members. Most of the individual members work at the universities, the universities of applied sciences, and the affiliated technology institutes. Other members are engineers and physicians working at hospitals and in biomedical and medical companies.
Individual Members
25 CHF / year
Active membership is open to all those interested in Biomedical Engineering in Switzerland. Each new applicant needs the support of two active members of the society. Please submit your application for membership, addressed to the President of the SSBE, by e-mail to the Secretary and Treasurer of the society.
Collective Members
250 CHF / year
Collective membership is open to all institutions and companies working in the area of Biomedical Engineering in Switzerland, and allows the nomination of up to 12 individual members within that institution. Please submit requests for collective membership by e-mail to the Secretary and Treasurer of the society.
