About the SSBE

Newsletter

We publish an annual newsletter to inform our members about our latest activities, report on our award winners and share the latest regulatory updates.

Mission

The Swiss Society for Biomedical Engineering brings together experts from various disciplines of biomedical engineering to promote networking and innovation. It stands out by promoting collaboration across academia, medical research, and industry. The primary venue for exchange and collaboration is through the society's Annual Meeting.

Journal

The official journal of the SSBE, "Biomedizinische Technik/Biomedical Engineering (BMT)" from de Gruyter, is a leading platform for the exchange of knowledge in biomedical engineering and related fields.

Collective members

We offer collective memberships to academia and industry to promote networking and information exchange.  Collective members may nominate up to 12 individual members within their organization to benefit from a waiver of their annual fees (5 for small collective members).  Collective members may also promote activities and initiatives relevant to the SSBE members through the society's communication channels.
